Wooden vase NEPAL LIME WASH

In earlier times and still today, in some places in Nepal, they are used for storing food. Depending on the size and shape of these wooden containers, they are used for keeping milk, cheese, ghee, and other foods. Wooden containers are now being replaced by metal, ceramic, or plastic ones. All differ slightly in size and appearance.

We use them today as unique decorations or wooden vases for dried grasses, twigs, or artificial flowers. Each wooden vase is an original, has a vintage look. Often these containers are repaired, which gives them a distinctive patina and story. Changes in patina or repairs, signs of time - therefore they are not defects, rather the opposite. Minor imperfections make this vase absolutely original and a perfect accessory.
