Narrow folding console table with a light touch of industrial style from India.
These folding tables were used in Indian weddings, public events and festivals. They were brought in by trucks and erected for the duration of the event. After the event, they were folded up and loaded back into the truck, ready to be moved to the next location.
These vintage folding tables are not new or deliberately old looking, they are vintage with a story, no replicas! Over the years, they have acquired a pleasant worn surface, which are restored with respect for history. The tables have signs of use and scratches consistent with their age and original use.
Raw Materials, who we work with, buy a large number of old and used folding tables from all over India. In their production in India, they restore the tables themselves. Old broken parts replace parts from other original tables. They remove the nails and refinish and restore the surface of the table. The legs of the table are often destroyed, so they replace them with a stronger iron support and make new legs from recycled wood.
This rustic wooden dining table has been fully restored and will serve for many more years. A completely unique piece.
Raw Materials maintain the highest quality without losing any of the character of such beautiful and exceptional pieces. This is a 100% sustainable product.
