These folding tables were used at Indian weddings, public events, and festivals. They were brought in by trucks and set up for the duration of the event. After the event, they were folded and loaded back into the truck, ready to be moved to another location.
These vintage folding tables are neither new nor intentionally made to look old; they are vintage with a story, no replicas! Over the years, they have acquired a pleasant worn surface, which is restored with respect to their history. The tables show signs of use and scratches that are consistent with their age and original use.
The Raw Materials we work with purchase large quantities of old and used folding tables from all over India. In their production in India, they restore the tables themselves. They replace old broken parts with parts from other original tables. They remove nails and refinish and restore the surface of the table. The table legs are often damaged, so they replace them with sturdier iron supports and make new legs from recycled wood.

The tables are not replicas; they are vintage pieces with all the signs of time and life. You will also find metal plates, fine scratches, etc., simply traces of use.
The dining table has 2 iron rods underneath, which are simply secured in the pre-drilled holes on the table legs. The table can be used as indoor/outdoor furniture (when folded, it is only a few centimeters thick). KEach table differs from the next in both its patina and size (which may vary slightly).

Maintenance: With proper maintenance, your table will serve you for many years. For indoor use: Apply any type of wax (preferably natural) or teak oil twice a year. For outdoor use: At the beginning and end of the season, use any type of teak oil. For metal parts, use varnish or linseed oil. If you want to simplify everything, you can treat the entire table with linseed oil.
