What does concept store mean?
Cafés can be found on every corner in Prague. There are also several design shops in the Czech metropolis. But what does the term concept store mean? In this area, Co.De Concept is still somewhat of a pioneer, however, in Western countries it is a completely common part of urban life and you can find concept stores in every neighborhood.
Quality comes first
Generally, a concept store is characterized as a shop that offers curatorially selected products from a specific area.
In our case, it is about quality furniture and home accessories of selected styles, such as rustic furniture (shelves, cabinets, bar stools...), sustainable furniture (brand Raw Materials, Mojo lights), ethnic style, funky style, modern rustic, and more.
Endless Exploration
However, it differs from a traditional store in that the main motivation for customers to visit is not to purchase a product. A concept store typically includes a café (like ours), a community center, coworking space, and other activities. It is quite common for people to visit a concept store several times a month, but not buy anything.
The main motivation of the concept store is to motivate people to discover - new styles, what they would truly enjoy and what they love.
Like home
The whole idea of Co.De Concept is. We do not focus on mass sales supplemented by loud discounts, but we want people to meet in our café over excellent coffee and fresh homemade pastries. To enjoy each other's company, or perhaps to calmly handle work emails or write the next chapter of their novel. During their visit, we are happy to show them beautiful furniture and home accessories, and who knows, maybe after a while, something will catch their eye and they will take one of the design pieces home with them.
"Human approach, inspiration, and exploration are the fundamental pillars of concept stores, including ours. Let us know in the comments how you like Co.De Concept and whether you have gotten used to the combination of a café and a design shop. Thank you very much, and we look forward to your contributions!"
